Andreas Synnos is fellow member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology in the UK and a holder of a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton. He has over 10 years of experience in the Controls Systems and Automations Profession primarily in the Oil & Gas Industry where for over 6 years was working in the Process Automation and Safety Systems. Over the last 5 years has been employed in Cyprus as a shore-based logistics Facility, Operations and Project Manager for Lavar Shipping on the Israeli and Cypriot Oil & Gas Field Development Projects overseeing the day-to-day operations as well as the long-term strategic planning of the Group advising on the business use cases and Deployment Strategies for Blockchain Technologies within the Oil & Gas, Supply Chain, Maritime, Warehousing and Logistics Industries.
Andreas holds a numerous certifications relevant to Control and Safety Systems design and maintenance, cryptocurrency use cases, cryptography and blockchain as well as the HRD Authority Certification for approved trainers. He has been part of multiple onshore and offshore projects ranging from Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to Commissioning & Implementation, Maintenance, Modification and Optimisation of Automation Systems in multiple locations around the world including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, England, Scotland and Norway where he has been advising employers and clients on the benefits and solutions delivered by the disruptive Blockchain Technology in their respective field.
